Best places to hit shopping in Paris?

I go to Paris maybe... 3 times a year since I was born. No exaggeration. I am turning 16, and I am going to be there for my birthday... and this year I actually want to take advantage of shopping in Paris.

I am planning to go to La Gallerie De La Fayette... are there any other places I should know? And please don't be vague, i..e boutiques because they are everywhere in Paris.

Thanks so much

xoxo

  1. Paris is the most amazing city in the world and I hopefully you are going back in december because everything is 80% off!

Obviously La Fayette is the best choice

  2. It depends on what type of shops you need.

If you are looking for Chanel, Luis Vuitton and so on, you should go to the Champs Elysées and Avenue Montaigne (on the right when you go down the champs elysees, half way)

  3. Go up and down the street of Champs Elysee. Tons of shops.

  4. Le Bon Marche Rive Gauche

24, rue de Sèvres (7th arr.)

    Metro : Sèvres Babylone

    Printemps Haussmann

    64, boulevard Haussmann (9th arr)

    Metro : Havre Caumartin

    http://departmentstoreparis.printemps.co...

    WK Accessories

    5 Rue du Marché-St.-Honoré (1st)

    Metro: Tuileries

    [An interesting thrift shop]

Les Trois Marches de Catherine B

    1 Rue Guisarde (6th)

    Metro: Odeon

    [Vintage purses]

    Alternatives

18, rue du Roi de Sicile (4th)

    Métro St. Paul

    [second hand designer clothes]

    La Vallee Village

3, cours de la Garonne Paris 77700

    RER: Val d'Europe

[An outlet mall- 75 leading ready-to-wear, table ware and luxury labels offer their previous season's collections (minimum of 33% reduction (off original recommended price) and up to 60%).]

  5. For department store-like shopping Printemps and Galeries Lafayette are the biggies, but also check out La Samaritaine, and Le Bon Marché.  For fun go to Saint Ouen Flea Market, but watch out for pickpockets.
