Best places to raise a family?

Question

Are these good cities to raise a family? I mean low crime levels and good education or anything else that makes a good city to raise a family in. Also on a little of a budget.

Here are some I came up with:

Omaha, Nebraska

Moscow, Pennsylvania

Lowell, Massachuttes

Boston, Massachuttes

Buffalo, New York

Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina

Columbia, Ohio

Where do you think is the best to raise a family and what do you think of these cities?

Well i live in Raleigh Durham, it's a nice city. Lots of trees and fresh air lol.

Also we have some very good colleges here (UNC, NCSU). So if you don't want to spend more money in the future, then this is a good place!

Much depends on what you do for work, whether you are single or married.

If you can handle layed back and a country atmosphere I think towns have it all over cities for raising a family.

But you need to know you can get work. I also am told North Carolina is beautiful. Where my brother lives near Atlanta GA the houses are so nice and each has a few acres. Its designed that way.I watch House hunters. Man the houses in the South are big, have unique features and are gorgeous and the prices are lower than in WA. cities. I am in WA. state. Portland OR. is a beautiful city. My daughter did a fine job raising my grand children there. The oldest is still a virgin at 20 and a good christian girl because of the way she was raised. She is pretty, graceous and has great self esteem. I live in the town where I was born. After years of citiy life here and there I returned. There is a share of drugs here, like all places but your neighbors look out for you and your kids and parents know where their kids are.

I hope this helps. I don't know about any other places except Long Beach CA sucks and most of the cities by it and Tacoma is an armpit.
