Best places to see in England??

i wanna go to england and i wanna know the best spots to see, i know i could go to a website and check it out, but i wanna see wat everyone likes not wat some site tels me to

If you had an unlimited amount of time I'd suggest the following

London, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle, York, The Lake District and Snowdonia National Park in Wales. Then Head upto Edinburgh and then to Loch Ness.Then head to St. Ives and Lands end.

I definitely second Warwick Castle- good introduction to Castles. Also second St. Ives/Cornwall. York is nice. Of course, you must experience Londond, at least for a few days. See a show, go shopping in Camden Town, see the Tower of London and take pics of the Tower bridge, go on one of the city bus tours.

Depends on if you like cities or nature/scenery better. There are plenty of both. Oxford is a nice city and there is Blenheim Palace nearby, a really great museum/manor house.

Also, the town of Whitby in the NE is very nice- cute port town with nice views and shops.

I always liked to see places that I saw in movies I like- so look up filming locations if you're interested in that. (for instance, the broom flying lesson in the first Harry Potter movie (and many other Hogwarts scenes from movies 1&2) were filmed at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland (where the Duke is still in residence half the year)). Besides the filming aspect, it is a cute town and a VERy nice castle to visit.

Just to sure to EXPERIENCE everything, wherever you go. Don't be afraid to jump on the Tube, or try new food, or duck in to a pub you pass by for a drink. Ask anyone around you for directions or suggestions, I'm sure they'd be happy to help and give you their opinion of the best things to do/see.

The Yorkshire Dales, The Peak District, The Lake District

all in the North of England, really nice sights to see :-)
