Best places to visit in British Columbia?

Where are the best "touristy" spots in British Columbia? A friend and I are planning to drive to the Okanagan from Vancouver so anywhere in this area would be great! Out of the ordinary fun tourist stops is what we're looking for

Too many to list, the area has all kinds of wineries, beaches, cute towns, etc. Great area for a long weekend out of Vancouver (or Seattle, for that matter).
