Hi,

For your question, we have several options.

If you want to spend time with a shoping mall (but dont want to buy anything), you can go to Spencers or Chennai Citi Centre. These are all nice places and you will not feel the outside hot temperature.

If you want to spend time with purchasing, goto T.Nagar or Purasaiwakkam area. You are having lot of shops to buy dresses.. etc.

If you want to spend time with religious places, contactTamilnadu Tourism office and book one day package tour for Kancheepuram / Vellore golden temple.

If you want to spend time with any historical place, you can goto Mamallapuram, which contains lot of  historical events. Pancha rathas, Seashore temple, light house and so many historical architecutures built by Pallavas. On the way to Mamallapuram,  you can spend time in Muttukkadu boat house, Crocodile bank and Dolphin city and some other places on ECR.

If you want to spend time with any theme park, goto Kishkintha or Queens land or MGM.  you will get water rides and other time pass events for a whole day.
