Best places to visit in London

Question

My boyfriend and I are going to London (city) for three days next week we are 20 years old and I am wondering where the best places are to visit, to eat and wheres the best nightlife for people our age etc..

Covent Garden is a good place to start.  There are nice shops and a market during the day and in the evening there are street performers and buskers and a few bars and clubs nearby.  Leicester Square is slightly more touristy and the bars and clubs will be a little more expensive.  For food, there are lots of chain restaurants such as TGI Fridays, Garfunkels, Wagamama, Nandos etc.  If you want somewhere slightly nicer you will probably have to book in advance.  I would recommend the South Bank area for things to see.  There is the Westminster Bridge with views over London for photos and the London Aquarium (around £12 per adult) and the movie exhibition next to that.  There is the Namco station which is a giant arcade with bowling and bumper car things.  Next to that you have the London Eye (book in advance or you'll queue all day).  Further down the South Bank just past waterloo bridge you'll find the big gallery buidings.  They have some lovely installations outside there at the moment including a huge dome s part of the psycho buildings exhibition and a water fountain you can run through, an astro turf lawn with deckchairs and giant sofa.

theres loads of places to go in london! like the london eye. thats great. you get a great view so u should take a camera.

and then theres the millenium dome (otherwise known as the 02) i've been there too. its got an ice rink inside, and loads of places to shop and eat. celebritys sometimes go there and perform. like once the spice girls were there too.

buckingham palace where the queen lives is a great place to see.

and you defianately hav to go madame tussauds! that place is gret u probably heard of it. they have these life-like statues of famous people. i went once.  they got people like j-lo (if u whisper in her ear she blushes), brad pitt (ucan squeeze his bum lol), and everyone you can think of! big ben/houses of parliament.

london zoo and london aquarium. there not babyish so dont think that. they're a good place to go if your coming london.

the science museum (they have all these simulation rides , i've been on one of those and they are so life like and cool, they also have like an imax thing))  oh and go to the imax cinema u can watch movies in 3D!

and theres so many more. it would tke u hours to read this if i wrote them all!!!

You have to go on the Millennium Eye - which is a great big ferris wheel next to the houses of Parliament. Greats views. Queues can be really long - might be worth booking in advance, you might be able to avoid queueing.

Im sure other people will have some great suggestions too - theres loads to do here.

Soho is good for Bars and clubs and stuff.

Well London has so much to do & see

Best in London eye, Big Ben, Buckingham palace…. River cruise ride on Thames river  .

They if you have time have a look at Maddame tussads  - wax museum.

Visit Piccadilly circus & leister square to see London night life . There are many clubs here .Enjoy a big bus tour if u want to give some rest to ur feet . have a nice holiday

You cant go in them but you can stand outside by the sign and do James Bond poses.

If you get the chance to speak to someone who is just going in or out of the building wink and try speaking in code.

Galleries and museums are free. There is Buckingham Palace. There is a West End show - go to the TKTS booth at Leicester Square on the day for cheap tickets (see also www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/tkts for details of what is on offer from 10am each day).
