Italy is quite good to visit,

but another real cultural place is Istanbul, in Turkey.

I've also just come back from a really amazing place in Switzerland called "Lugano". Its a beautiful lake and everything seems to run exactly on time.

Finlands also a very scenic place, its on my travel list since I've never been there yet, but I've heard its amazing.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit around Europe, but we haven't been to every country - yet!  I think most countries and most "tourist-friendly" cities are very good, depending on what you enjoy. If you love to hike and ski, then Switzerland or Austria is great. If you love nature mixed with evenings of good food, fun pubs, and good entertainment, Sweden is good.  If you love history and archeology, then Rome or Greece is fantastic.

  One of my favorite cities is Vienna, Austria. It's kind of expensive to eat out in restaurants all the time, but the architecture is gorgeous, the citizens and very calm, friendly, and helpful, and the history and culture is fascinating. Vienna is the world's center for classical music, too, so there's definitely no shortage of concerts, ballet, and other art forms. We just loved it!!
