there are several outlets in Old San Juan...including Coach and Dooney & Bourke and Ralph Lauren.  Excellent jewelry stores are also in Old San Juan.

Luquillo Beach is excellent, you should see the Serrale Castle in Ponce, you should go to Ponce, in fact.  Do the Bacardi Rum tour.  See the rain forest.

Hello. Puerto rico is a great destination. The best shopping is at Plaza las americas mall or for very high end(Gucci, Versacae, etc) go to the Condado area of San Juan & for the most unique go to Old San Juan & shop all the boutiqes & artisan shops, etc. San Juan has some great restaurant like Parrto Club, Ajili Mojili,  Dragonfly, Aguaviva, etc. But they can be expensive, so also try the local kiosks for cheap good eats. The best beaches in San Juan are Isla Verde, Condado, Ocean Park, puntas las marias & el escambron. But San Juan doesnt have PR;s best beaches. You should check out Culebra, Vieques, or Gilligan's island for the best beaches.  Also for sightseeing check out el Morro fort & Old San Juan. Also el Yunque rain forest, camuy caves, arecibo telescope, the bacardi factory, the bioluminescent bay... etc. Enjoy :)

I stayed at the Westin Rio Mar beach and spa..with ocean or forest views..it's great there..clean, pretty pools, private beach etc.

El Yunque is a huge rainforest that is very close to the hotel. You have to drive your way through narrow paths though, that are scary if your not an experienced driver. Then you park your car halfway up the mointain and walk the other half. Again, be careful..when you get to the top, there's this huge pretty waterfall you can swim/relax in.

Old San Juan looks like Spain and is pretty with the architecture, but the stores are kinda cheap and they sell mostly statues..BUT there's a baskin robbin and a Coach :)
