  1. From my own personal experiences, I would recommend the city of Bath, Blenheim Palace and the nearby village of Bladon, the village of Broadway, Chepstow Castle, Gloucester Cathedral - used in the filming for the Harry Potter movies, Stonehenge, Waddesdon Manor, Warwick Castle and Windsor Castle.

    Denise my family have lived in Dorset for so long that it is my world and what a world, Dorchester , Lyme Regis , Weymouth , I can go on and on you must visit my world and Hardy's , I wish I could go with you and share your happyness .

  3. dorset has everything. we have beautiful beaches.sandbanks is the best. we have corfe castle with its delightful village. swanage is a lovely real english beach resort with punch and judy etc, plus the finest fish and chips in england and weymouth is excellent too

    monkey world is here and its well worth a visit. the scenery is stunning. try lyme regis for the jurrassic coast and find some fossils. dorset is the best place on the south coast. try it and i hope you enjoy it

    for night life theres bourmemouth and for shopping theres bournemouth.  

  4. i live in somerset and there is loads of lovely places here and in devon and cornwall, i would pay a visit to tourist info for leaflets. crearly and woodlands are great for kids and adults.

    it is cool and also probably one of the warmer parts of england =]

  8. Cornwall's quite nice, there's a sweet and quiet little place called Bude that has a nice beach :)

  9. Definitely visit Bath and drive through the Cheddar Gorge, amazing!
