Best point and shoot digital camera under $250?

I want a point and shoot that takes great pictures, and quickly! I had a Sony Cybershot that broke so don't suggest that one! It also took about 10 seconds to take a picture so I never got action shots and people had to pose forever! It was so annoying...thanks!!

I agree with the person up there who said Canon or Nikon.

I can't recommend a specific model, but you have to remember; the lens is the most important thing, so don't just look at megapixels.

IMO, you can't go wrong with a Canon or Nikon camera.
