  1. try walmart.com

    but becareful about the quality

  2. To much is called "getting in debt" go with what you can afford.

  3. too much is when you cant afford it..

    i say--just be resonable

  4. It is customary to spend 2-3 times of your fiances monthly pay checks, but I would spend as much as I feel comfortable with. Try researching online, You can probably save 30%. Try http://www.jamesallen.com/ or http://www.bluenile.com they both have well priced diamonds and rings with a 30 day return policy.

  5. The old fashion way is to figure up the mans salary for two months, that should equal the cost of the ring, but just look for what you like, there shouldn't be a price tag on it.  I think you can get a very tasteful ring under a thousand.

  6. hello!

Well let me tell ya i actually work in the jewelry business! :) The price will very depending what you and your soon to be husband are looking for, gold and diamonds are always going up! Platinum is also very expensive. Now as a good shopper i always recommend shopping many stores and checking there policies such as diamond warranty, all the stores pretty much will have a catalog of the "sales" and sure they are discounted but if they tell you they will have a special event coming up where they can do additional discounts i suggest waiting for those dates cause they really do save you money!

Keep in mind COLOR,CLARITY,CUT AND CARET! the four "C"

and anything certified which means a diamond that comes with paperwork it was evaluated  by the International Diamond Association that adds value and will cost you more money, now to some people certified is a must have and to others it is not.

The usual amount i sell rings for range anywhere from 500-3000$ again depending what you want. I hope this helps :)

p.s Take advantage of there in house financing!

  7. You should know what you can and can't afford.  Be reasonable. You also need to be tasteful .

  8. Um...depends on your circumstances...and where you live. mine cost 1700 in Colorado and my Friend in California's cost 7,000 (Mine is .5 cts. and hers is 2) but I love mine! what I would do is consider what your future wife's opinion is. I didn't want anything huge because I have small dainty hands. however the clarity is what was important to me. also if your on a budget and wanted the most for your buck. oval or pear shaped appear much larger than they are. Platinum is a huge waste of money because only a jeweler can tell the difference between it or white gold. um...yea I don't think anyone can tell you exactly how much to spend though because it's the ring you want your girl to be wearing for the rest of her life and it should suit her taste. as well as fit in a reasonable budget. (Mine was about one paycheck or half a months income)

  9. Depends on what is your budget like. When you feel its going out of your budget than its too much. Isn't it?

If you can take my suggestion visit http://www.b2cjewels.com/ . its the same site from where I got the wedding ring as well as engagement ring. I found it to be pretty affordable & reasonable.

  10. It is traditional for the ring to equal 2 months of the mans salary, however that is not always practical. Its silly to go into debt over the ring when there will be so many purchases the two of you will have to make down the road. I would go for the quality of the diamond or gemstone over the size. That way at least you know the ring is actually worth something. In the future the ring can always be upgraded with a larger diamond or stone. Of course if you dont want to go with the traditional diamond that will usually drop the price of the ring considerably. White Sapphires could fool the untrained eye to think its a diamond and they are far less expensive.

  11. There is no need to go into debt for a ring or to try and keep up with friends.  Only buy the ring you can afford regardless of size or stick with a pretty band.  When you have been married awhile and careers are further along you can always add to the ring at an anniversary.

    Good luck!

  12. Multiple Thousands.

Huge Diamonds Shouldn't Be Used To Buy Love.
