If you do not want to spend a whole lot of money, but still want to have a wonderful time on a cruise, Carnival will be hard to beat.  All cruiselines will show you a wonderful time, but Carnival is usually going to have the lowest fares. My wife and I had been on Royal Caribbean 4 times and Princess 1 time before taking our first Carnival cruise. We had heard rumors that we would be disapointed with the service on Carnival after traveling with Royal and Princess. Truth is, we were both very pleased with the service we received on the Carnival Legend. You can visit Carnivals website and also the cruise critic website for tons more information. Every cruise is worth every penny.  You can't put a price on a vacation like this because it is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

In my opinion, a cruise to Alaska far exceeded my expectations. I got more for my buck on this cruise then any of the others I took(8 so far). Even Europe and the Mediterranean didn't compare to Alaska. Of course you have a much shorter flight too then to Europe. I hope to go again to Alaska on a cruise I loved it so much.
