  1. I use oil blotting sheets if my face gets oily. I have tried oil control products and finishing powders but they do not work for me.  I just use 1 clean & clear blotting sheet after about 4 hours at work and it makes my foundation look fresh again. I tried using everyday minerals in semi matte instead of bare minerals and I didn't get oily in the least bit all night. I haven't tried the semi matte mid day but I thought it was really amazing because my face gets oily not even wearing makeup. You can get a free sample kit of everyday minerals at everydayminerals.com. No other liquid, cream or powder foundation including the bare minerals I have been using for 3 years had ever been able to stop my face from getting oily.

  2. I use neutrogena deep clean scrub and neutrogena stress control foaming cleanser, and that keeps my face shine free. I also have oily skin in the summer, and bare escentuals foundations do wonders for keeping my skin healthy and non-shiny. Hope this helps :-)

  3. one word, neutrogena! its awesome stuff and never makes your fave oily or shiny!! i sue it and  my complexion is great, i keeps away blemishes and oil, clogged pores, and shine! try it heres the like!

  4. there is a new shine control daily face wash out, it is by clean and clear you can get it from any supermarket.

  5. Im guessing you mean oily-ness. haha. I use Neutragena translucent oil control powder. its amazinggggg, i suggest getting something like that. you really cant tell your wearing powder at alllll. but if you dont like that, you could get those oil blotter sheets, which are okay but i like the neutragena stuff i mentioned WAYYY bettter. :]

  6. Get Clean and clear shine control scrub it's supposed to be really good.

Get clarity face wipes that are in superdrug they control shine through the day with out removing any make-up. They are like grease paper type things and absorb oils and grease.

Take them to skewl and use them all the time to stop shine on your face.

    Hope I helped x

  7. You need a product that is not only oil free, but that will also absorb the excess oil your skin produces during the day. You can also dab your face using little "tissues" made for that very purpose.

The oil control lotion did it for me, and you can use the Beauty Blotters at first, until you get that under control

  8. Firstly use oil blotting sheets to blot up the excess oil. You can get them off http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~pr... for £1.50.

Then apply Boots Tea tree and witch hazel shine control day moisturiser, this also helps to keep your skin clear and spot free. http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail... it's £3.19 from boots and at the moment they have a 2 for 5 offer. (Also the spot wand in that range is amazing)

To may want to try a different foundation, meybelline dream matte mouse is very good for even, uncakey and it has a wonderful matte finish. Also try miss sporty. You can see their products at http://www.miss-sporty.co.uk/  try their so matte foundation which is £2.49.

The product which it doesn't sound that you wear is powder. The purpose of it it so stop face shine, it is also perfect for setting foundation. I personally use boots natural collection pressed powder which is £1.99. But loose powder is just as good. Miss Sporty do a so clear powder that hates fight against spots and i know that Rimmel do an anti-shine powder. It is also ideal to take with you incase you need a top and re-apply in the middle of the day.

Another thing i would suggest for you to try is mineral make up. Meybelline make it and bodyshop are bringing it out. Because it is a powder it will make your face less shiny. Many websites (i have only found american) gve away free samples if you are willing to pay for the shipping (which works out at like £3) take a look at:

    I hope this helped

  9. you need some kind of makeup that is not too oily that is going to make face like it is for a dinner "Look! it is a greasy pizza! "lol...see what I means oily causes it to shiny all the time I have that problem too , throw what you are using because oily makeup will never help. DON"T PURCHASE ANY MAKEUP WITH INGEDREDIENT that say OIL. You are not food so what is up with chemical? anyway you should try mineral that don't leave face to shine because it has no chemical but just an air , water and earth but some mineral can be trick so please read INGEDREDIENT on MINERAL and Active INGEDREDIENT too. be sure none says Talc or Oils because Talc is the one that can irrates and cause acnes to come back but sometimes when it says Talcs it is a tricky way of saying Oily in hidden.  Cleanser, or any cleanser things won't help to clean oily face off unless you get rid of your oily makeup because if you keep wearing oily makeup , oily face that add up with oily makeup will sweating overtime that defeat cleanser . No matter how many time you wash, they will keep sweating from you running or anything that when you get oily that why you have to get rid of oil makeup. But in a meanwhile MagiX makeup maybe for you because it says it has no oil.  Please read their product reviews before ordering thanks.

  10. Try Biore products to stop your face being shiny. The moisturiser works as soon as it touches your skin. Find oil free  and oil control make-up products too as some foundations can be very oily and do the opposite to what there supposed to. Heres the Biore link so you can have a look at the products

  11. oil blotting sheets work amazing! i cant live without them

  12. I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil Removing Foaming Cleanser. I paid around $10 for it at the drug store and out of all cleansers I've user this one is the best. I've tried more expensive stuff like Clinique and Estee Lauder but they don't seem to work for me. Everyone's skin is different though. Keep that in mind when other people give you advice. And a really good press powder that I wear everyday is from Clinique. It's Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder Oil Free #101 Invisible Matte. It blends into any skin tone and works amazingly. My sister introduced me to it and I love it. It's about $25 but lasts a long time and works. I don't have to wear any liquid foundation and it covers up well. Hope this helps!

  13. try rimmell loose powder it works for up to 10 hours on my face fab

  14. Nothing will really prevent it but we can sort of stop it!

I use Superdrug's Clarity Oil Absoring Sheets.. 99p for a little book so you can pop it in your purse or whatever!

Clinique and Shesiedo and many other high-end brands do them too but obviously it's a bit more on the expensive side.

I use Dermalogica's Skin kit for Normal/Oily skin.

Recommended by my dermatologist. It has reduced the oiliness in my skin but nothing will stop it =] x

  15. after you have applied your foundation use translucent powder brush this lightly over the ace with a fan brush or a powder brush

  16. Clean & Clear have a Shine Control face wash.

  17. liz earle or philosophy works best on my skin in terms of cleansers etc as for make up it would have to be mineral makeup like bare essentials or something similar

  18. This stuff is great. I live in Phoenix, AZ, where it is always hot. It is expensive, but you only need a very small amount for your whole face. Lasts all day. My bottle lasted me over 6 months! Put it on under any foundation!
