  1. It depends what you want to make your movies for. It could be that Pinnacle Studio 12 or Ulead Videostudio 11.5 will be ok for your needs - they are easy to use and good for newbies. Premiere Elements has been given a newer screen design and is pretty good, and you might be able to get a good deal on version 4 'cos version 5 will be out soon. Sony vegas is very good, rock solid, but it might take a while to get used to. Cyberlink Power Director 7 is pretty good as well - much better than those that came before it and I like it loads. Like i say it depends what you want to do.

By the way, Pon - Final Cut Pro is great program (I use it myself), as is iMovie, but not much use if you're running a Windoze or Vista PC.

Oh, and avoid Movie Maker. It's dead on its feet!!!

  2. if you're a beginner then just use Windows Movie Maker or iMovie.

The current program that is used as the industry standard for post-production is Avid.  There are many different versions for different needs.  However, Final Cut Pro is coming up fast as a very serious competitor and many Oscar winning films have been edited on FCP (No Country For Old Men is one example).

  3. Ulead videostudio 11 is the finest editing program on the planet. I have tried most of the rest but none of them can beat this one, I have been using it for many years now, you can download a free unrestricted 14 day trial from www.corel.co.uk and I bet you will be so impressed that you will buy the whole package, It is so easy to use & supports HD & Bluray as well so go for it & good luck.

  4. windows movie maker....

    its great!

  5. If you use a Windows machine, I would recommend Adobe Premiere

Or on a Mac iMovie is good.

  6. For starters, I'll recommend Windows Movie Maker too, because it's easy to use and does a OK job too.

But if you want a more professional look try Adobe premiere

  7. the most simple program to edit movies is.

WINDOW'S MOVIE MAKER. most of computer has this.

    check it out in START.
