Elder Scrolls Oblivion is an RPG and a fantastic one at that. Beautiful wide, open environments, a huge array of creatures ranging from goblins to bears and great storyline. Side tasks can be started through various guilds. The mages, fighters and thieves guild offer rewards in those categories and take you on local/wilderness adventures. Not to mention the guild of evil assassins the Dark Brotherhood. Also helping the town folk can be very fun. (Doesn't sound it, but it is). It really should be top of your list, trust me it truly is magnificent and hours upon hours of game play. HAHA sorry, just realised you were asking for psp, can't help ya mate, although if your ever searching for a pc, xbox 360 or ps3 game Oblivion is the go.

Crisis Core:FF7 is simply amazing in every aspect. Great music, great graphics, and amazing storyline.The story and its characters will suck you right in, and you might shed a small little tear at the end :D

GoW:Chains of Olympus is pretty good also. A nice little gorefest for the psp

GTA Liberty City and Vice City stories are good if you like blood, killing, and killing.
