Best "blue" when painting room?

Question

I'm wanting to paint my bedroom sky blue, or some sort of blue. Does anyone have any tips or advice as I do this? (shades, brands, what-not-do-to, past experiences, etc.)

Also, I'd like to paint my attached bathroom floor the same color to tie the rooms together. Anyone experimented with this? I have laminate flooring.

I think "Pale Celestial Blue" (# 6001-21) by Sico is a beautiful, tranquil shade of blue for the bedroom. Here is a sample of the color:
