Cafe Adobe good Mexican - midtown.

Katz's Deli & Bar great new york style sandwiches - midtown.

vargos for a nice afternoon evening.  they have a garden flowers peacocks and a pond.  it is on memorial.

My goodness!  It just depends on what you like.... Mexican?  American?  Italian?  Chinese?  Sushi?

Houston is FULL of restaurants with awesome menus and prices; the ones Jon listed have a great ambiance; but not he best tasting foods...

So, what's for dinner???

Sambuca's is good.  So is Bice Italian in the Galleria, Brennan's, Smith and Wolensky's, Yao's, Las Alamedas.  Do an edit and let us know what part of this hugh city and what type of restaurant and your budget.  We have over 10,000 restaurants in Houston.
