Go just a bit south of Digby (less than half an hour), if you can and eat at Cafe Christophe.  It is in a small village called Grosses Coques, near Church Point.  It is located in an old house and the chef changes the menu from day to day.  He always has a few staples though.  It is one of the BEST restaurants I have ever eaten in.  Highly recommended!

As for Digby itself, I have only ever come across places that deep fry seafood (scallops, clams, etc).  There was nothing that really stood out to me.
