I live in San Luis Obispo and I can tell you, there are a few great places to eat in Pismo, so it depends on your price range and what your looking for. In the higher price range sit down restaurant's there are several choices. McLintock's is a western style steak house off of Hwy. 101 and overlooking the ocean. Steamer's is my personal favorite, owned by the same people who own McLintock's but offering a fancier setting right on the cliff with some amazing seafood (my favorite is the salmon with mango salsa, and they have the best bread pudding for desert). Both McLintock's and Steamers average around the same price, so it depends on if you want a loud/fun steakhouse or a classy/relaxing/romantic seafood restaurant. Giuseppe's is also a good place for Italian food. Del's pizzaria is also a good family style Italian restaurant offering a good family dinner deal. On the cheaper end, there is Splash Cafe, Mo's Steakhouse (amazing Tequila Lime Tacos), and Longboard's for burgers (all 3 of these are located downtown Pismo area). If you like Sushi, try Yanagi's on the hill overlooking Pismo.

There is a BBQ place that rocks! It's across the street from the billiards place....just ask anyone for the billiards place and you'll be there. A great bar called Harry's is also on that same block..........have fun!
