  1. Oh Leoni's in Long Beach , CA,  OMG the pizza pasta Italian sausage, but no Italian restaurant has ever matched up to that one, hope it's still there.  That little Greek restaurant in  ElPaso, geeze the name escapes me across from the Vista Hills elementary school.  I loved that place.

  2. well, I would have to say a place called Hungry Farmer's in San Antonio Tx. It's more of a place that's more nostalgic to me then anything else, I've eaten at five star restaurants before around the nation but, to me restaurants are more of where we create good memories around a good meal no matter what restaurant it is

  3. The Dining Room at The Railway Hotel in Faversham, Kent.

I ate there several months ago, and it was amazing, I had chilli fried prawns, with a delicious salad, beef on a bed of leeks with the richest gravy I have ever tasted and roast potatoes cooked to perfection (I have dreamt about it for months afterwards) and I had a delicious chocolate goo thing which must have been about a thousand calories, as well as a cheese plate of locally sourced cheeses.

All the food is organic, locally foraged and grown and cooked to perfection, the attached pub is a beautiful victorian railway hotel which makes a wonderful gin and tonic and the hotel has quaint, clean little rooms and serves a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Such a good experience I've booked a meal and a room there for my boyfriend and I on valentines day.

The veggie options are delicious as well, and I'm a hardcore carnivore, but the risottos are perfection!

  4. Italian food is the number one, French, second Spanish 3rd,. the best resturant is

    PepperMill Clearwater Fl comtempory food

    Any Italian Resturant is good...

  5. Trattoria La Siciliana on College Avenue just south ofAshby in Berkeley, California.

    Their food is consistently fantastic!

The food is served family style for groups of three or more. That means platters of food in the middle of the table and everyone serves themselves.

I've had meatless pastas, pork tenderloin cooked for six hours, the creamiest polenta, even creamier risotto, linguine tutto mare with "live" maine lobster, lasagne with bechamel, melenzane alla parmigiana, cracked crab marinated in lemon, garlic, olive oil & parsley.

This is pathetic. 1:47 a.m. and drooling over Italian food! LOL

  6. The Warehouse in the marina. (CA) i had the salmon. dear god, i didnt know salmon could taste like that. and be so soft!!! it was amazing.

  7. Flemings Steakhouse, Baltimore Maryland.  I had an appetizer that consisted of Alaskan King Crab legs, oysters and clams on the half shell, Some Blue crab claws already shelled, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and a small bowl of pure lump crabmeat.  And three bottles of wine.  That was a fun night.

  8. Black Angus in Thousand Oaks CA Fillet & lobster

  9. the italian restaurant, Carrabbas!!! its the best.... order the CHICKEN TRIO. they dont have it on the menu, but you can still request it.

  10. I am a big eater so when i go out for dinner I'm usually still a bit hungry after but then I went to Lazy Moes in Tullamarine Melbourne the size of the meals were huge your plate was a serving platter, the first time I went I orded the Moes BBQ (it said big appetite required) it had everything steak, ribs, chops, bacon, sausages, eggs, ham, etc etc . . It is also reasonably priced if you have a big appetite give it a shot I recommend the Souvalaki.

  11. b.d.'s a.k.a. mongolian bbq...its like freestyle eating, you personally choose what you want (its all raw) and you take it to the grill and they cook it in front of you!! its the best!!

  12. i say it was nono in Croatia porec it was so good we had pizza it was thin and crisp it was huge a single pizza was about two foot from side to side and it was half an inch or less thick and then i had three pancakes with chocolate on and a huge ball of ice cream and lots of whipping cream and syrup after that i didn't eat for 36 hours strait.

  13. The Fork and Spoon in Texas City, Texas.  The food was like eating at your mom's and the people there were like being at a family reunion.  Great food, family atmosphere, reasonable prices, fast service.  Even a great story told here and there by a regular.
