  1. The best resturant in toronto is the Mandarin. They have all different types of food, and its not just chinease that way you can get an assortment of everything to satify your taste.

  2. On the Yahoo catagories, there is a dining out location.  There are several cities mentioned and I believe one of them is Toronto that will give you the best restaurants.  Someone asked this about traveling in the state of Ohio and they found the places by checking this site.

    Good luck to you.

  3. depends what you like to eat?

  4. My favorite restaurant in Toronto is Centro. I've been there five times this year alone! If you're really into dining, then take a look at this restaurant directory that I've been using for years. It's called www.menupalace.com. They've got tons of Toronto restaurants and I find that they keep getting new ones on every few days. Let me know what you think and if you've got any restaurants that you really like!

    Phil

  5. In my opinion :

I would say Susur is the best restaurant in Toronto.  The guy has been on Iron Chef vs Bobby Flay.  I tried their 6 course tasting menu and it is the best food I have even tried in Toronto.

Other choice would have been Splendido, Perigee.

If you want a nice view of Toronto, go up to Canoe, which is top floor of the TD tower, but the food there is not as great as the other one I mentioned above, but still great.

If you want trendy restaurant, try Rain, Blowfish or Kultura.  Their food is pretty good too.

  6. There are a few

I don't normally like franchise restaurants, but "Montana's" was very good everytime I went, and the western decor and friendly service and food was great!  Also, "Friendly Greek", nice comfortable decor and really good food; and one of the best Chinese restaurants (franchised now) is "Congee Queen", its clean and bright, and always super food!  "Remezzo  or Remezzo's" at Warden & Sheppard has great Italian food, beautiful decor with giant french impressionist paintings, very polite service, and super great Italian food.  Downtown, there is a cute and fun restaurant "The Old Spaggetti Factory" if you want basic spaggetti cooked great !  Just outside of Toronto,"Sauter's Inn" has excellent German food on Kingston Road in Pickering; and "Mr Hungarian" I think its called, in the old downtown of Markham, Hwy 48  Markham Road north of Hwy 7.  There is also a northern Chinese restaurant, which may be THE best, at the north-side of the plaza on Steeles Ave just east of  I.B.M.  (about 1 km west of Warden).  These are all some of the best you will find, and the prices are reasonable.
