if money is no object, i'd recommend the bistro at one devonshire gardens. the food is superb, the wine sublime and the service is exceptional. pretty expensive though, but you really are paying for quality. christ i probably sound like i work for the place. i don't. i ate there once about 6 months ago and i'm still salivating over it. just an unforgettable evening really.

on the cheaper but still exceptional food side of things, stravaigin on gibson st is pretty much unbeatable. again, excellent service and an ever-changing, seasonal menu, using scottish produce and doing exciting things with it.
