Ackbars at the top end of town near the old odeon cinema is good for curry,

so is Aagrah next to the west yorkshire playhouse.

Sou le nez en ville, near the station in city square...in a basement, good french syle food. but if you want the best restaurant, you have to pay that bit extra...

the best indian is the tripti, down one of the back streets- has an orange sign- incredible curries with original interpretations- it used to be one of the few indians still selling "bombay duck"- that foul smelling delicious fish

local cafe cant beat it. or if not open get the scraps from the bins
