  1. I think the tasting menus at Sona are the best. Also love pastas at Mozza. CUT is great too

  2. Depends on the type of food. I go out a lot and here are my faves:

Korean - Chosun Galbee in Koreatown

Chinese - W's China Bistro in Redondo Beach (fusion, not authentic)

    Indian - Bombay in Hollywood

French - Aimee's in Redondo Beach

Heatlhy/vegetarian - Tender Greens in Culver City

Mexican - Paco's Tacos in Westchester

    Japanese - Yamashiro

Other great resatuarants:  Saddle Peak Lodge, La Cachette, Gardens on Glendon, Gyu-Kaku

  3. Fraishe in Culver city is amazing.. CUT in Beverly Hills is supposedly great (Ive never been, but heard very good things) & it's by Wolfgang Puck.

I went to Katana on Sunset recently. Both the food & the room were amazing & it was wonderful.  Asia de Cuba is across the street (On Sunset Bl) at the Mondarain Hotel (sp?) and is also wonderful.

  4. Well, according to reviews, it's a three way tie - Nobu Malibu, Melisse, and Asanebo.  Happy eating!

  5. I like "the Little Door" on Third St.

  6. Big Mama's Hot Tamales, but it's in a nasty neighborhood.
