Question:

Best rides at Six Flags over Georgia!?

I don't really like big drops, but I'm letting loose for this trip.

We're going this weekend for a school band trip, and I'm going to be in a group of kids, some who like more hardcore rides, others who don't. Anyone know any good rides to try?

If not, a method of how not to throw up while or after having fun?

  1. Best Rides at SFOG:

    1. Goliath --- Great big drops, great airtime, loads of fun.

    2. Georgia Cyclone --- Wooden coaster that is insanely wild.

    3. Mindbender---a scenic double looper, lots of fun

    4. Batman --- very intense inverted coaster.

    5. Superman Ultimate Flight ---Flying Coaster

    6. Georgia Scorcher --- Medium size stand up coaster, not too intense.

If you are really brave, try Acrophobia. Its a stand-up freefall drop. Last time I rode it, it really freaked me out!

Keep in mind also the park has a hokey boat ride called Monster Plantation. It's not up to the quality of a Disney ride, but it is quite refreshing to see such rides at non-Disney parks. Check that out.

Deja Vu is no longer at SFOG. The park removed it last year after dealing with too many technical problems with the ride since it opened. It was down quite often.

Also BEWARE OF THE LOCKER n***s--- located at Goliath, Cyclone, to name a few rides. Please smack them for me. ;-)

  2. goliath is the biggest and longest and you must try it...then batman is the best...then superman...scorcher....then the mindbender..and the ninja(give you a major headache), i also refuse to go on deja vu because the only time i've seen it open it got stuck in the middle of a drop for over an hour(you can call me chicken, but i'm not goin on a ride that's never open) those are all the steel coasters and are all really good but i don't ride the ninja anymore because it gives me major headaches.....the wooden coasters are the scream machine and the cyclone, they are both fun, but if you don't want a rough ride then don't go on them.......  you really need to go for all the steel coasters ecept for maybe the ninja, they look huge and scary but you really need to force yourself to ride them because they rock.....

i forgot about the mining cars, a great coaster, no loops, but it's similar to a good wooden coaster...very fun.

  3. Georgia Schorcher is probably one of my favorites, Goliath is great too!If Deja Vu'(best ride in the park) is open get on it not matter how long the wait is.I've waited for almost 2 hours before and its MORE than worth it.
