  3. Omni Puerto Aventuras Hotel Beach Resort is amazing

Nestled on the Puerto Aventuras Caribbean coastline, a luxury yachting community in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, is the Omni Puerto Aventuras Hotel Beach Resort. This harmonious community of villas and luxury condominiums was built using native materials. The construction reflects the care and attention taken to respectfully integrate the hotel into its natural surroundings. Just 45 minutes from Cancun International Airport and 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen.

Intimate 30 room resort with a private jacuzzi on each balcony or patio.

Large, expansive beach with coral reefs ideal for snorkeling.

  4. We did a lot of research on this ....we are going to Cancun next Friday for 9 days and we are staying at the Sun Palace.  On travalocity they rank the Sun Palace as the # 2 resort out of 157 in Cancun.  You can go on travelocity and check out reviews from past guest of many different resorts in Cancun and Playacar.

The Sun Palace does not allow kids so no kids jumping in the pool doing canon balls.

This is a smaller hotel - more of a boutique hotel that gives a lot of personal attention.  It is all inclusive so everything is included including 6 tours - (snorkeling, trip over to Isla Mujeres, tours down to several mayan ruins as well)

Location: located just 10 minutes from the airport so you aren't right in the middle of all the tourist hotel zone you are at the far end on a private large beach.

All the rooms have balconies that have a ocean view of some sort. Also all rooms have large two person jacuzzis. Since this is a palace resort hotel you have access to the other resort hotels - including restaurants and use of their facilities. This increases the number of restaurants you can eat at for free.

Being all inclusive all your food, alcohol and select tours are included so take advantage of it.  The beach is larger than most in the hotel zone and because its at the fapeddlersf the hotel zone you don't have all the pedlers selling their items on the beach.  Directly accross the street is a jungle cruise that you can rent waverunners or mini speed boats.  Also the bus stops right in front of this resort so going into town is very easy!

After a lot of research with us wanting a romantic vacation get away I would definely suggest the Sun Palace in Cancun.

  5. Hi. Let's see if I can help you out. Yes, Cancún is great. You are right in that it's more of a party type atmosphere, but there are secret places in Cancún that are romantic at the same time. Most of these places are on the very southern tip of Cacún. On the southern tip there are resorts that aren't so wild and crazy and more relaxed for adults. There are two new place that opened up in Cancún that are called Le Blanc Resort and Spa (this resort is more for adults and you have to be atleast 18 to book there so you won't have little teenagers running around). Also The Royal Cancún is more of an adult based resort. Beach Place is also new and more for adults. Last, but not least, is Dreams Resort. It's located on the northern tip of Cancún and very romantic. It has the ocean on three sides of the resort and is tucked back to the point that it's all it's own. A lot of weddings are here. They even have a little oasis in the middle of the resort (ocean with palm trees) and they have dolphins in it and you can swim with them. This resort would probably be your best option if you wanted to go to Cancún. You would be close to the nightlife also, which you know what that consists of in Cancún. If you do choose Cancún you have got to go to Lorenzillo's seafood restaurant. Very romantic and probably the best seafood in the world.

If you don't want to try Cancún again, then the next romantic place in Mexico would have to be Riviera Maya. I haven't been there yet, but my buddy went and said it's very laid back and relaxing. It's about an hour south of Cancún. Everything here is pretty much done at the resort meaning there really isn't anything to do outside the resort, but the way the resorts are set up he mentioned that there really is no need to leave and it was the biggest resort he's ever seen. He said it took him like 15 mins. to walk from his room to the beach it was that big. He stayed at Barcelo Maya Beach in Riviera Maya.

  6. There is another beach called Puerto Vallarta. Its great.

  7. Try the Desire Resort in Cabo San Lucas

  8. guadalajara, puerto vallarta, mazatlan.. or mexico city!!!

  9. The best place is the beach, but the best beach is Acapulco,Guerrero is so beautiful and the attention is great...Byeeee!!!
