where do you buy your running gear?? like clothing .... ect.

is target a good place to buy it like their shorts look excactly like the ones at ***** but for a better price like for a pair of running shorts is only $15 and for a running shirt it is $15 and for a sports bra $15 so i think that is pretty good price and the quality looks pretty good.

  1. Compare prices and quality of the running shirt, running shorts and sports bra to Sportchek

  2. The brands that they sell at Target are fine.  I tend to go with the Dri materials versus cotton and have not felt a big difference between the cheaper brands and the Nike, UA, etc brands.  Mostly it has to do with the style and how it fits on me.  One thing to note is that Starter brand that is sold in Walmarts used to be owned by Nike.  Nike sold it last year and bought Converse.  So even the less expensive brands have deep pockets behind them.

    Good Luck!

  3. www.nike.com

    www.runnersworld.com

    www.runnersgear.com

    www.ChampionUSA.com

go to www.google.com and search "cheap runners gear"

  4. I just started buying running clothes at Target and am really happy with them. I'll definitely be getting more.

For shoes...definitely go to a specialty store. They can help you find the shoe that works best for you. Some may even let you try them on and jog around the parking lot a little to see how they feel, or get on a treadmill so they can look at your stride. They are a little more expensive but definitely worth the investment!

  5. I like to buy mine at Target, because the clothes are cheaper than those at most running stores, and the quality is good. The Champion brand has good shorts and running skirts, usually for a good price. They're comfortable and don't ride up, and they'll prolly last awhile. I haven't bought any running shirts there tho. The sports bras are nice too. You should try out their clothes and see how they feel to you. As for shoes, i go to a running store to get them fitted to make sure that they're the right type of shoes for my feet. A little pricey but the right shoes will carry you a long ways (literally and figuratively). Hope that helps.
