Question:

Best running shoes for cushion support? What to get?

It's a choice between Asics Gel Nimbus or Adidas Supernova Cushion 7s..... whats the best out of these two only?

  2. Honestly, I wouldn't listen to people's recommendations on here. Their footstrike is probably different than yours. Their foot shape could even be different. All of these things could effect what is good for you vs good for them. I would go to a running store and have them fit you with shoes. Try both on. And also, be open to possibly getting a different pair of shoes if neither one works out.

  3. Cushion support is an oxymoron (no matter what they say).  

    The Asics Gel-Nimbus is a better selling shoe (nationally).  They're both made for the same function (someone who needs a neutral cushion shoe).  I would say the Nimbus gives you a more pillow (soft) feel when you initially put it on where as the Supernova is a lighter shoe that gives you a more responsive feel (like a spring).  I also think the Supernova fits wider through the toebox but the Nimbus is wider through the heel.

    I, personally, like the Gel-Nimbus better than the Supernova.
