  1. New Balance is NOT a good running shoe.

The best shoe you can buy for running is definately asics.

You can get them cheap because they are always coming out with new colors and styles but they all work really good.

The price of them can range from about 40-140.

I am a runner and the ones i use i got for 80 and i really like them.

I always get asics when i need new ones :)

  2. Nike & Adidas running shoes are perfect.

durable & very nice sporty designs

the cheaper ones around $40 to $50

    new designs at $100

  3. I ALWAYS go with ASICS.  I havent worn anything else for 3 years or so.  They are really comfortable when I run.  But you should mainly choose based on the shape of your foot.

  4. i am a state track runner and jumper i use nikes and put cushions in them i also have a problem with suport but these will help a lot they put less stress on your ankles and knees

  5. probably NEW BALANCE brand  because they are cheap, but I always go with Nike.

  6. Funny,  all these answers saying Nike. Go to a marathon, go to a race somewhere and see how many people are wearing Nikes. Not many. How many miles do you think the military recruits run while in basic training? Hundreds. Go check out how many of them are wearing New Balance. I guarantee you it's a lot. I was just at a marathon at a Marine Base and they were having basic training there on the day of the marathon. 95% of them were wearing NB.

There's a bunch of good brands of shoes. The best shoe is the one best designed for your foot and mechanics. The newest shoes out are the most expensive. If you get the shoes that have been out for a few months they are way cheaper. My running store has shoes that people have tried out and they didn't work for them for one reason or another and you can buy them for even cheaper. A lot of the brands are good, but if the most expensive shoe doesn't work for you then in my opinion it's worthless.

  7. Asics most definitely.

I've put many miles on my pair and they were only like $35!

  8. Hello,

I'd go with the running shoe that fits and feels the best.  Everyone is different.  For a nuetral foot, the Nike Air Pegasus is a good value.  It's $75 +...but it's a running shoe.  Try on shoes and see which one works best for YOU.  Good luck!

  9. You get what you pay for. If you buy cheap shoes, you dont get the support.

IMO Nike is the best, Asics 2nd and Saucony 3rd, everything else a distance 4th
