Best setup for a 94 Camry?

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry. Id like to get something, preferrably from best buy. I need a faceplate. And I want it to have a little bit of a boom to it but not too much just because I have little kids and etc...so with that being said I dont know if I need subs or amps cuz I dont know the difference. I would also like to stay under....hmmm 300? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks! Also, I dont care if it does or doesnt have MP3 on it.

well a sub is the speaker and the amp is what powers the sub, your going to need both. best buy often has tons of deals on full set ups(stereo,amp and subs). since you dont want to much bass i would go with only one 10inch or 12 inch sub. also try looking for a powered sub(sub with amp built in). easy and space saving.

Befor getting all that i would first upgrade your cd player and all 4 speakers and see if that is the sound your looking for.
