Best shoes/boots to wear on sports motorcycle - crotch rocket?

Question

I've been looking around for some sports bike shoes. The harley davidson boots look too clunky to fit, going through the motion from the foot peg and the shifter.

The motocross boots look good but are too expensive.

Currently I am using tennis shoes, actually, they are heelys minus the wheel with the laces tucked in.

Can anyone direct me to a place where they sell leather shoes/boots that make sense to use while operating sports bike at an affordable price?

You really dont need to ask this in the MOTORCYCLE RACING section, more in the common sense section.

Just look at what the road / track sports bikes are riding.

You wouldn't want to ware motox boots - mind you, I wouldn't want to ware tennis shoes or Heelys (minus the wheels) ???????????????

Try a Motorcycle shop - that's gotta be a good place to start.

As to the cost - you get what you pay for!!!!!!!
