whats the best and fastest site to get your tax rebates done?, i have p45's from 2004 till april 2007 which i would love to get my tax rebates!!!,theres so many sites offering low commision on the net,which is the best,thanks

Don't use them! Some take 40% from your refund in fees.

You have two choices. Either take your forms P45, and documentary evidence of tax deduction to your local tax enquiry centre, or write to your tax office enclosing forms P45, and claiming a refund. Neither of these methods will cost you anything.

Be prepared that tax office may have enquiries regarding your employment history, if not all information is held.

None, dont use them, they are all a rip off. just write a letter to your tax office, requesting they look to see if you are due a tax refund.

It depends what you mean by "best". The cheapest and quickest I have seen is:

They charge 9.8% of any refund and the refund takes 4 weeks.

You can claim back the tax yourself, which can take longer, and unless you know what you are doing can be quite confusing.

To do this. Send your P45 and/or P60/Statement of Earnings. Together with a P91 - History of employment. As well as a P85 or P86 if applicable.

Good luck, whichever method you use, make sure that you get back any tax that is rightfully yours.
