when i first landed a kickflip it was a blue vans slip on an they have a narrow point to slide to the corner but not much padding so yeah i wear vans slip ons

I bought DVS shoes from Journey's and they work wonders. I would seriously consider buying them for the type of physical activity you and I both do.
