Alta Snowbird solitude snowbasin brighton in that order IMHO. Really it depends on who has the snow and honestly they are all excellent.

I went to Utah skiing a few years ago to the SNOWBASIN resort. It was great everyone was so nice and the slopes were great. it even held the Olympics a few years ago so i would definitely recommend it. Go to the website the pictures are amazing!

I'm a skier and prefer Alta.  But Deer Valley is hands down the best and the most expensive.  Deer Valley also has a lot more to offer.  They have great lodges, shops, and food.  Other good resorts are Snowbird and Sundance.  I really don't think that there is a bad resort.  Pick one that's closer and go to it.

1. Deer Valley (nice but the most expensive and no boarders)

2. Alta (it's probably you best bet all-around and no boarders)

3. Snowbird (also good all around)

4. Brighton (good for boarders, but I don't really like skiing there.  There are a million obnoxious teenage kids and I'm not saying that because I'm old. I'm 19 and I occasionally snowboard and I sill think its full of obnoxious teenage kids)
