Best small car ...... ???

Question

I want to buy a new car and I want something economical, not big, with reasonable price (12-15 000). I am thinking about Toyota Yaris now. May be there is something better. Could you give me some ideas ???

Look up the Peel p50 on youtube. Jeremy Clarkson from Topgear test drives it. It gets 100 miles per gallon

Take a look at the Scion XD (made by Toyota).....it is a 4 door hatchback with plenty of room for 4 adults (5 if you are skinny).....excellent cargo space.....excellent mpg's (27/34)....rates very high on the safety scale.....

And I read somewhere on the internet, that this car has the same engine as the Corolla......

Anyway......base sticker is about $14,500....

I looked at the Yaris.....the low price and high mpgs are tempting, but once you start to add options like power windows and a/c, the price raises dramatically.....

Take your time, do your homework...a vehicle is a major purchase.........good luck
