I have a huge gas grill which is fine for big parties, but too much when I just want a couple of steaks for me and my wife. Is there a small gas grill that gives good results?

  1. I have a Weber Go-Anywhere Gas Grill and I love it!! It uses the 1 lb propane cans that you would use for a camping stove or lantern (even though it shows a funky size in the picture). I think you can get the pieces needed to hook it to a 25 lb tank, but I haven't bothered.

I suppose it isn't perfect, but for what it is, I think it does a great job. I cook just about anything on it that you can cook on a regular grill - though you can't provide much "indirect" heat.

One really awesome thing is that it is TRULY portable - you could take it on a picnic or to the beach or when car camping easily.

    It's about $60. Take a look

  2. There are a huge range of brands world wide so I can only suggest a type.

I would go for a cheap kettle grill so if you want to cook something covered you can put the lid on.

  3. Char Broil is the only brand of Gas Grill that I have always been happy with. They are the only one that gets hot enough to sear meats.

Lowes has the little guy for under $100, it's about 12 x 20 grate size.
