  1. JAFFA CAKES.

  2. you want to consume lean proteins like white fish or other seafood, egg whites, low fat cottage cheese, lean beef or pork, powered protein powders made from whey or soy and veggies. at night when the level of activity is the lowest and insulin sensitivity is low you want to consume only low GI carbs and only in small quantities.

  3. orville redenbacher 94% fat free butter smart pop! its only like, 100 calories and you get soooo much and its filling and satisfying :)

  4. rice cakes and carrots :)

  5. No, actually the best thing that you can have is maybe a bowl of cereal with skim or 2% milk. The casein protein in the milk is a slow-digesting protein that your body will absorb all night long instead of within an hour after you eat it. After about 3-4 hours of no protein being absorbed, your body goes into a catabolic state where it starts to use muscle as fuel for your body. So casein protein will be absorbed all night long and will be beneficial. Another food that contains casein protein is cottage cheese. I like to have some before bed. It is very high in protein, and low in carbs and sugar. The best kind to get is the fat-free, and you can add stuff to it too. I add cinnamon sometimes, or sometimes I use bits and pieces of fresh fruit. Hope this helped! -randy

  6. Fat back and biscuits and a glass of fresh goats milk.

  7. fruit , if your looking to loose weight have a grapefruit !

  8. In the past I was the typical American and would eat everything wrong.  Not only this, I'd eat 2x as much as I should have.  Long story short, I eventually learned that it's WHEN you eat, WHAT you eat and HOW MUCH you eat.

Now, I grab an apple, chop it up (into squares) and then mix it with non-fat vanilla yogurt.  Dannon's Light and Fit yogurt is pretty good.  Well, it's sweet and it has substance. (Yogurt alone is too soft and doesn't seem like "eating.")  I won't say it's the "best" of options, but it sure is better than I'd eat in the past.

    Great question!
