Best sound system for car for 3000!!?

i would like 4 subwoofers 6 amps 2x6'9 and 4x6' is this posbbile on a 3000 price limit???

what curency is that in cause im in aus. if ur in USA then that that would be enough for a resonable setup. But i wouldnt take it to soundoffs. if you do want to take it to sound offs then save another $1000.

Why 6 amps??? You could run all that on one big 5 channel amp, but for more power to your subs then you will want a dedicated mono amp for them. I know a guy that has 4 Memphis 12" subs that were only $170 each ($680 total) and they run off of a single Memphis 1100 watt mono amp ($600) and his car can make you physically ill.

So basically. You need a 4 channel amp (4ch by 50watts) to run your highs and a mono amp for the subs, just 2 amps, not 6. Say $500 or less for a sweet CD player with all the goodies, then you have to remember wiring and installation. You can place installation at around $200 plus a box for the subs $200 (probably less but we're "ball park"ing here).

so...

CD player    - $500

4 subs         -$800

mono amp   -$700

4 ch amp     -$500

Sub box      -$200

Installation   -$300

so that's $3000 right there, but I estimated on the high side for everything so you should be under your limit comfortably, maybe by as much as $1000.

But as for which set-up is best?...The best system for your car is the one that sounds best to YOU! Not anyone else. In the end, it's you who's paying for it and you who needs to be pleased. So got to your local car audio shop and start listening to what they have to offer. And remember that it doesn't cost anything to ask a question!

Why so much , run two serious drivers with good amplifiers

you should be able to do what you want with that kind of money, I still say spend your money on better quality, and the install.
