Best spot for child seat?

my son just turned one and i was wondering what spot is the best for him, ie behind drivers seat, in the middle, or passengers side? i drive a 2006 jeep liberty

  1. I would say back seat in the middle. or behind the passenger seat.


  2. Read your car seat manufacturers book and your Jeep's book. I'd put it in the middle rear seat. Really though the correct answer is wherever he is safer. There should be 4 child seat anchors. I prefer the middle, using the lap belt strapped super tight and 2 anchors again super tight.

  3. The most deadly seat is the passenger side back. in most test.  Middle or driver side back.

  4. As reported by the (NHTSA) the best place for a child or even a passenger is in the middle of the rear seat.

  5. In a car seat, either side, in the back. Make sure you get a seat specialized for kids his age and **REAR FACING**.
