  1. I went to UNLV and then lived in Las Vegas another four years before moving to Central Florida. With both areas known for golf in general I would still lean towards Nevada with UNLV and Coach Knight. Butch Harmon is also based out of Las Vegas. On the other hand, if you have the talent to even be considered by a division one school you will pretty much go to the program that is interested in you not the other way around. Florida has the most PGA professionals last I heard though Florida State, Florida, and UCF are not know for their golf programs.

  2. i'm from texas and am partial to anything in texas.  texas, a&m, tcu, baylor, and texas tech all have great programs and rice plays one of the best courses in the country.  but i also would suggest georgia or north carolina.  georgia has great course and has university of georgia, georgia tech, and augusta state which are all top teams every year.  duke, wake forest (arnie played there) and north carolina charlotte and chapel hill have good programs and incredible courses

  3. Stanford because Tiger Woods went their.

  4. I would say anywhere in Southern California. USC, UCLA, San Diego St, UC Santa Barbara....and many more.  Im from Texas so this is hard for me to admit, but they have PERFECT weather for golf down there.  Not to mention the amount of great courses and top 150 instructors.  There are also a number of PGA Events in that area and many PGA professionals live in that area.  It is a Golf Mecca.

If you are going strictly with winning and a winning program with great facilities I would have to say Oklahoma State.  Oklahoma gets pretty rough weather at times but there are, surprisingly many many good courses not too far from Stillwater and OSU has Karsten Creek (an awesome golf course, really tough from the "cowboy tees").  The amount of pros that OSU has produced is hard to ignore.
