  1. guyle2 thats sick

    walmart

  2. Incense is immoral and wrong.  That kind of thing only takes place down south.  Or on the weekend with cousin Sue and Ellie May.  Or with Uncle Bob behind the shed.  **dreams about Uncle Bob**

Wait a minute, you done mean that there smelly stuff don'tcha?

  3. Best price with quality would be Walmart. Most of the Dollar type stores sell closeouts or "old" stuff that may affect the fragrance.

  4. I sold over 600 varieties of incense in both my retail store and on-line and have to tell you that CHEAP incense is just that, it doesn't matter where you buy it. Quality incense will burn a long time and doesn't get "old." It will be the same in 100 years as it is today.... The cheap kinds are almost always blank punks soaked in synthetic fragrance diluted with dpg and tend to dry out as they age and lose their strength - not a great value however you look at it.

So, with that in mind, I have found Gonesh brand in several different dollar stores over the years and this is a terrific deal!!!! They are charcoal sticks and made with quality fragrance that lasts. They also burn a long time. I've also found some nice Chinese incense at dollar stores (these are primarily sandalwood and very pleasing).

If you are dead set on buying cheap incense from one of those stores, get the most number of sticks for the lowest price of what ever fragrance you enjoy the most - it doesn't matter where you buy it if you like it.

If you have a "head shop" in your area, I suggest going there. They almost always offer some line of "bulk incense" that you bag yourself. I carried 2 lines - one was 15 for $1, the other was 25 for $1, and there definitely was a quality difference. The cheaper were dipped wood punks and the other were charcoal sticks. There definitely is a difference in how clean they burn.

I've also found good cheaper incense at the local gas stations...not the corporate ones, but the little guys.

I have to say, NOTHING beats a good quality incense. Even though the initial cash out of pocket may be more, you'll have truer fragrances, sticks that burn longer with less smoke and even aromatherapy benefits due to the natural ingredients.
