Mine obviously was the Flyers.From the basement last year to the Eastern Conference Finals the next and keeping their core of players together and hopefully a healthy Simon Gagne and maybe a Brian Campbell in the mix.

Not a team favorite, but rather the event.  That event being the outdoor game.  I was present and it was a blast being there with 70,000+ people.

Nude beach.  I went to one in southern France when I was 18.  There it is no big deal, however you can spot the tourists,  either they had a camera in hand or were hiding behind towels.   For me, I hid my camera with a towel.

The rebirth of the Capitals.

Left for dead on Thanksgiving only to storm back and make the playoffs as a #3 seed led by OV and coach Bruce Boudreau along with the additions of Huet, Federov, and Cooke. This is one giant step in the right direction after recent years of misery.

Other stories are coming - the 'kids' are revitalising their teams - Chicago, Pittsburgh (so pleased Malkin got a goal in net last night - keep the vultures off his back) and the Capitals.

Mine was When Marty Broduer got caught banging his sister in law.

On a serious tip I got to see his 500th win live in Philadelphia this year.

I'd go to a nude beach sure....I'm a large hairy man.....That's not my problem it is the people who have to look at me's problem.

My wife and I went to a nude beach a few years ago in Spain. It was no big deal. It was actually quite relaxing after a few minutes

the only one i know of is Hallandale beach in Miami

and you dont go there unless your g*y. and i'm sure the rest of them in this country are the same way

Not a whole lot of real positives for the Cats this year. They were right in it again until the last week of the season. They were the one bright spot in a very bad year for South Florida Sports. David Booth coming in and making the contribution he did was a nice surprise.

Bonus. With the right guy I would go to a nude beach with tons of sunscreen.

In my mind its still 1996 and Buffalo still has Brad May. Sometimes I let myself live in last season. Sometimes I like the fact that Malarchuk didn't bite it.

Nude beach, why would I do that to people? And why would I entice people to do that to me?

I think the Flyers may have a legitimate shot at the top story in the NHL this season. Then again, it could just be my homer bias. Worst to the conference finals is pretty impressive.

Bonus: Sure I would, but I think I might cross the lines of nude beach etiquette sitting around beautiful unclothed women.

I guess I could say they didn't trade their 1st round draft pick for someone who leaves after 20 games this season.

Bonus- My wife and I went to Cancun in 1991 and the hotel had a separate nude beach.  But it was so windy, we didn't want to get sand blasted. After all, those grains of sand hurt when hitting you at 50 mph.

The Best Story this year for the Rangers was probably finding all the young talent to fill out the depth chart. Dubinsky, Dawes, and Staal all made serious contributions down the stretch, we've also got a Russian kid in the pipeline who's supposed to be pretty special.

Yeah, i'm not modest in the least, but I'm a hypocrite and I wouldn't want the GF to go lol.

Two things:

Dallas Drake finally winning a cup!

Darren McCarty defying the odds from sitting in the audience at a home game to playing for Flint, Grand Rapids, and joining the Wings, scoring the first goal for the playoffs, and getting his name on The Cup.  It's the comeback story of the year.

No.  Have you seen the people who go to nude beaches?!  Ewww.
