  1. you cant get the splits quickly unless you almost can do them im sorry to tell you it takes time depending on how much you stretch a week i would recomend every day of the week and atleast three times a day the morning before you go to sleep and while your watching tv doing hw etc. good luck

  2. Anything that you can stretch that makes your legs or thighs feel really tight. It needs to hurt. If it doesn't you will hurt yourself doing the splits. Well Good Luck!

  3. Do these in any particular order, each and every day:

Jazz split: On the floor, one leg is straightened in front of you, and the other is behind or perpendicular to you, but bent comfortably.  Stretch towards the front leg, trying to touch your nose to your knee.

Forward stretch: From a standing position, bend down from the hips (not curving the back) and grab your ankles. Pull until you feel a good stretch in your hamstrings.

Runner's stretch: Lunge with one leg forward.  Feet should be far apart and the back knee should be straight.  Bring your body lower, and you should feel a stretch in your groin.  Stretch it more by bringing your back knee to the ground.

Hip flexor stretch: Sit on your knees and slide one leg behind you.  It should be straight.  Have a trusted friend lightly step down on your buttocks, or the area that joins the butt to the thigh.  You will feel a stretch on the front of your hip.

Remember to do these lightly and every day, slowly increasing duration and intensity.  If you do too much at once, you will tear your muscles and ligaments, which actually makes you stiffer the next day.

At the end of two weeks, try doing a front split and you will see drastic improvements!  Good luck!

  4. ok, this is what you do:

    1. first go into half splits. strech to the front, side, and back.

    2. Then move your back leg more, but not into full splits. and stretch to the front side, and twist your body to the back.

    3.  Then carefully straighten your back leg. and push yourself up with your arms(straight) and try to press down if you still don't get into splits.

  5. im pretty flexible, yet i dont do gymnastics but i'm pretty good. tyr this...

  6. Sit with your butt on the floor with your legs spread apart as wide as you can. Reach for Left foot and try to put nose on knees hold it for 15-30 seconds switch to right side. then reach in the middle and hold it.

Also just keep trying to do the splits and hold it as long as you can. it shouldn't take long
