Best summer family vacation ideas?

We're traveling with 2 adults and 2 teens...we really want to travel outside the U.S....we are also considering a cruise or a place in Europe/Asia. Any suggestions?

Visit some of the out of places in Ireland

Most probably Mauritius (Indian Ocean) will enthrall you now with its hot climate (if you want to escape the snow).

Go to Egypt i went last year it is a perfect holiday destination theres lots to do from diving in the red see (which i recommend) to seeing the pyramids. The people are friendly there and the weather is always nice and sunny.

What kind of vacation are you looking for?  

Do you want the "lay on a sunny beach and relax" kind of vacation?

or a "See the sights in a big city" kind of vacation?

or more of an active "bicycle or hike through this beautiful area" kind of vacation?

Have you been to Europe or Asia before?  How comfortable are you with travelling to remote places where little English is spoken?

Narrow it down for us some and we might be able to help out more....

i would go to Long Beach Island, New Jersey...i know its not outside the US but its a great place!!
