I went to Israel this summer for a month with a group of 31 other people I had never met before. they quickly became my best friends, and I also fell in love with an israeli who spent the summer with us as our guard/medic. I've been back for a month now and I can only think of Israel and the people. I wake up and cry just wishing I was there. I don't know how to feel better. and my best friends from the trip live in Israel and the East Coast and I like on the west coast. Anybody know what I should do to feel better?

PLEASE HELP!

  1. My friend is experiencing the same exact problem as you are! She went to Israel this summer too and ever since she came home she has been so depressed. I would just suggest to try your hardest to keep in touch with the friends you have made. Maybe even schedule a reunion soon and then instead of being so depressed you would be looking forward to something.

  2. You've got to accept the fact that it was a great time but it's over, move on...you can keep in touch with the friends by email and writing but you'll have more great experiences and you can't have this depression after the fact or you'll end up shutting down yourself to fun...

  3. i totally understand where you are coming from....i am the friend of xeorxiocxa that is now completely depressed. i miss everyone so much but a few of my friends are coming to spend thanksgiving with me and i am so excited. you should definitely try to plan a get together with some of them. i would really like to know more about your trip like which program did you go on?
