Question:

Best thing to wear for swimming lessons?

I'll be taking swimming lessons this month and I'm not sure what will be best to wear.

Should I wear a tankini, or a one-piece? I'm not comfortable wearing a bikini since I feel like it's too revealing.

And would my board shorts go along with a tankini top just fine? It doesn't reach down to my knees, just mid-way. It's also Hawaiian patterned with all the flowers printed on it.

  1. The best and most perfect is the one piece with a high leg french cut it allows you to move easily and give your muscles a free moving area here is a link for the best suit for ladies  (http://www.speedo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...

  2. It depends on what the lessons are for, if you are just learning basics, i don't think it really matters, whatever you're most comfortable in. however, i would go with a one-piece if you were training for speed. Whatever you do, just make sure it's nothing that's going to be uncomfortable or has any threat at all of falling off while swimming around (some of those really cute bathing suites aren't so durable in the water and halters tend to come undone during vigorous training, i know from experience :)  )  Yes, the tankini would go with board shorts just fine if they are tight and aren't clashing colours.

  3. just wear a 1 piece

    you swim faster in it

  4. I think a one-piece would be the best, and maybe some goggles.

  5. its swimming lessons not a beach fashion show. wear a basic one peice. your instructor isnt going to be paying attention to how good/bad you look in your suit, they're going to be making sure you don't drown. don't wear board shorts in the pool.

  6. err nobody wears a bikini for swimming lessons.

  7. ok... go with the One piece or the tankini... you're not gonna worry about losing your suit in a swim lesson.  I personally would avoid the board shorts... they are extra fabric, and weigh you down and might make it a lil difficult to if you're not used to swimming.

P.s... you're instructor doesnt care about the print or pattern of your suit.
