Best things to do with kids in OC?

I just moved to Orange county, CA with my 4 year old and 20 month old. What are some of the best activities to do on a regular basis (not including the super obvious like Disney.)

Are there any jewels not many people know about?

Discover Science Center (kid's museum) in Santa Ana.  Kids could experiment & have a healthy learning experience while u participate in some of the activities that helps u bond w/ them.  Link is below:

The Discovery Museum on Main in Santa Ana, your 4 year old will love it, the 20 month old will be facinated. The Santa Ana Zoo. Santiago Park (small zoo and train rides). The beach, my grand kids go there first and last on every trip down here (from Idaho). Knotts Berry Farm, lots of stuff to walk around without going into the pay area, try the Independance Hall area, they have a train ride.

The hidden gem, the Orange County Fairgrounds. They have oxen, llamas and the like. Any given day they have school children there on field trips. Go to the horse area, watch the riders. The fair area is free except on weekends when events are going on, they charge for parking. And, of course, don't go during fair week unless you want lots of people.
