Anyone out there who sells cars or knows when the best month to buy a car is? I've always been told that it is December because of the end of the year deals. I know in sales, generally speaking, January is the best month of the year to buy stuff.

  1. any huge sale they have.

  2. yesterday

  3. The usual clearance sale events in August and September are a good time to buy. There's lots of rebates offered. If you're not ready yet, wait until January or February because those are the slowest months of the year in car sales. We'll take a deal then that we'd turn down in March or April, when things pick up.

December is actually a very good month for car sales. People buy cars for tax purposes, as gifts, or they think they're getting their best deal in December (not true) so we stay very busy.

Buy now or wait until Jan/Feb. You'll get a great deal on an '08 now. And a very good deal on an '09 later.
