Best time to apply for cruise ship job?

Right now I am 20 years old. I want to work on a cruise ship next year. So I have zero experience and i've read online that I need to be 21 years old. I've done some research.

Which cruise lines are more likely to hire people with no experience?

Princess is an American company and their head office is based in LA.

It depends what sort of job you are after. If it's bar work you need some experience and it would be worthwhile you working in a bar for now.
