Looking to book a package to Puerto Plata for 12 days in late August/early September. Prices are very reasonable, however in the past week they have gone up $100 with both funjet.com and applevacations.com. (All other sites or buying separately are even higher.)
It seems very early to me to part with the money, however if the odds or conventional wisdom say it'll keep rising higher, I'd rather pay now than take a big hit later.
Is it just a blip on the radar? Part of the bad stock market? A Friday nite price increase?? Will it come back down or only keep moving up? What's odd is that the trip price is going up as gas prices are finally going down!
Any advice greatly appreciated.
